Product Description
Built with a large profile for provoking big bites, the Strike King Magnum Rage Bug delivers all of the structure-ready features as the original – now in an upsized package that will push the limits of your livewell. Built to be the ultimate flipping and pitching bait, the Strike King Magnum Rage Bug is designed with a streamlined profile that slips through heavy cover with ease. Fitted with Strike King’s patented Rage Tails, the Strike King Magnum Rage Bug delivers a healthy water displacement that shines in dirty water and lower light conditions.

Pro Tips
This big, bulky 4 ½ inch bait is a magnet for giant bass. When you’re flipping, particularly in heavy cover, bigger is better as it gives a profile that stands out in the thickest grass or mats. Make sure to rig the Magnum Rage Bug with a solid, heavy-duty flipping hook and strong heavy line, preferably braid if you can get away with it. Pair it with a heavy weight (3/4 ounce or heavier) to make sure you can slip this bait through the surface cover and down to the bottom.

Drew’s Notes
When you’re flipping a bait like the Magnum Rage Bug, you need to have the right equipment. A good flipping stick is an investment that you should make if you want to be a serious bass angler, because unlike some “technique specific” rods it really is essential and serves an important function. A heavy, 7’6-8’0 flipping/punching rod will allow you to drive the hookset better and give you the power you need to haul the bass out of any thick stuff.
