Product Description
Pop, pop, BOOM!! You’re always in the strike zone with the Clear Lake Popper. Built to attract even the most finicky fish, this popping style topwater bait is perfect for when you know they’re looking up, but they’re not ready for faster moving offerings. Schooling bait fish in the area? Bust out this killer popper on busting bass. Short striking bass? Keep this bait right over their head for as long as you need to. With a top notch paint job and lazar sharp hooks, bass won’t be able to resist and are coming in the boat.

Pro Tips
This popper is a meaty offering for a bass. Measuring over 3 ½ inches, it’s perfect for tossing around the outside of bushes, trees, docks, in open water or around schooling baitfish like shad or other tempting meals. Work the bait in varying cadences with your rod tip pointed straight down at the bait and a slight bit of slack in your line. After casting, make sure to let the rings on the water fully dissipate before starting your retrieve. Many times, you’ll get explosions before you even move it.

Drew’s Notes
“Many times, anglers make a big mistake by seeing blowups on their popping baits and setting the hook too soon. The bait comes flying back at them and you’ve missed your opportunity. Watch your bait closely and set the hook only after you see the bass take it down and turn on it. Fish the Clear Lake Popper with the feel of your rod tip and not always what your eyes tell you. If they miss the bait, let it stay in place for a moment. The next little pop and they’ll strike again most of the time.”
