Product Description
The Bass Brothers’ Bootlegger is a lipless crankbait that’s built to run fast and smooth! When you need to cover water to attract the attention of the biggest bass, the Bootlegger is the perfect choice. With high quality treble hooks, a tight wobble and maximum vibration, you’ll soon discover why the Bootlegger is the only lipless crankbait you’ll need in your box. Whether you’re ripping it through grass, yo-yoing off the bottom or just a straight retrieve, the Bootlegger will get you more reaction bites to help you fill out your limit.

Pro Tips
Lipless cranks are one of the best search baits you can tie on. The main reason they are so good, is that you can work them in every water column and in a lot of different areas on the water. Try slow rolling or yo-yoing the Bootlegger off the bottom, steady retrieve or “stop-and-go” in mid-depth areas and burning it fast, just below the surface towards the top. Similar to fishing a squarebill, you’re trying to get bass to react, so sudden movements, jerks or ripping it through cover are awesome ways to get vicious strikes.

Drew’s Notes
“If you’re struggling to figure out where the bass are located, tie on a lipless crankbait. Start deeper and let the bait sink to the bottom, before giving it small jerks upwards with your rod tip. If you don’t get bit, move shallower and find some sparse grass areas, burn the bait and rip it through the grass. This can be a fantastic technique when bass are active in the morning and evening in the summertime.”
